Slow Yoga is a creative, therapeutic vinyasa flow designed to bring balance to the body and the mind combining breath with movement. We will move slowly with an emphasis on building strength and flexibility. When we slow down we relax the nervous system, we focus on our breath, & we become stronger mentally and physically. This class is great for beginners, as well as seasoned practitioners! No yoga experience needed, come as you are!
This class is designed to bring balance to the body and the mind combining meditation, breath and movement. We will start with 5-10 mins of guided meditation to help us disconnect from the external world, relax the nervous system and connect to our bodies. Then we will flow to build strength, stamina & flexibility. Flows are designed to cue mindful movements in sync with breath to leave the practice feeling energized and stronger.
☀️Chelsea's Classes☀️
Focusing on bringing balance to the body as a whole. This class is composed of flowing and creative sequences, creating a moving meditation. This full body flow will include postures to increase strength, stability and awareness. All bodies and levels are welcome.
In this class we will explore yin yoga postures to target the connective tissues, ligaments ,tendons, bones and joints of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. This practice requires the muscles to relax around the connective tissues, in order to get a stretch. These postures are generally seated and held anywhere from 3-5 mins. Some benefits of Yin Yoga are that it brings calm and balance to the mind and body by holding the posture in stillness. It can improve flexibility, joint mobility and reduce stress and anxiety. This session is suitable for all levels.
Warm Sunrise + Flow Wake up and energize your body with movement and breath. You can expect this class to incorporate spinal movements, sun salutations, standing postures, balancing poses and twists. The goal of this class is to have you leave feeling energized, open and intentional to start your day.
☀️Cathy's Classes☀️
This warm class (80-85 degrees) is for anyone looking to focus on the foundation, structure and alignment of each posture. Throughout this practice, you will focus on engaging your core muscles to go deeper and explore how your body reacts to each pose. Beyond strengthening & soothing your body and mind, other side effects may include feelings of accomplishment, calm, and discovering the True You!
This is an upbeat, moderately paced warm (75-80 degree) class that combines breath and movement. It is designed to build core strength, encourage stability and flexibility, and fill you with positive energy. This class will leave you feeling ready to take on whatever the day brings. Be True Be You!
Come prepared to flow hard and shine in sweat! This fast-paced hot class will be a fusion of boot camp and yoga, focusing on stability, core, stamina and strength. Flexibility is optional and modifications will be offered. This class will help you conquer peace of mind, slash stress, overcome anxiety and destroy distractions.
In this class we breakdown the basic fundamentals of a flow along with several of the more common asanas, to provide you with a strong foundation for your practice. Whether you’re a beginner looking to get up to speed and have a gentle entry into yoga, or you are a seasoned yogi interested in perfecting your alignment....this class is for you. Ample queuing, hand on adjustments and workshopping various poses (with a strong emphasis on arm strength & balance) will be part of this 45 minute flow.
Time to get in some stretching, strengthening and silence before the weekend is over. Join us for a 45min vinyasa flow where you will work on upper and lower body, balance and core. Your whole body will thank you!
