Yoga for me is a way of life. It’s more than just honouring my body through movement. It’s how I feel at ease and nurture the connection between my body, mind, spirit and Mother Nature.
True Yoga is a safe space for me to express my true self and share my passion for yoga with other fellow human beings.

Cathy went to her first yoga class 14 years ago and declared it wasn't for her. Throughout the years she randomly tried other classes, but only began to understand its power in 2013. She was preparing for her first triathlon and yoga was part of the group training regime, meant to assist with both mental and physical stamina. Once she began to see major improvements in both arenas, she was hooked. For Cathy, yoga is one of the few activities that offer a reprieve from her noisy (ADHD) brain. It guides her into a place of peace, focus, trust and stillness, providing quiet moments for the body, mind and soul. She wanted to share this freedom with others and in January 2018 she received her 200 hour YTT in Nicaragua. Cathy enjoys teaching Vinyasa, Hatha and Power Flow to students. Teaching allows her creativity to shine and her enthusiasm can be felt in each session. Her desire is that yoga is accessible to everyone and currently is the Executive Director of Freeing the Human Spirit (a charity that teaches yoga to federal inmates).

Chelsea has been passionate about the practice of yoga for many years. She loves that yoga is inclusive and that anyone can experience the many benefits of a yoga practice. Inspired by her practice of prenatal yoga in preparation for the arrival of her two boys, Chelsea felt the desire to expand her knowledge of yoga. After completing her 220 hour yoga teacher training with Yoga ink, Chelsea began teaching Vinyasa and powerflow yoga classes in Moncton. Furthering her education, Chelsea completed her 100hr yin yoga with Stephanie Calhoon and her 35hr restorative yoga training with Andrea Peloso. Chelsea enjoys practicing and teaching gentle hatha, yin and vinyasa classes. Throughout her teaching journey, Chelsea has taught in a variety of yoga studios, workplace yoga and outdoor yoga classes, locally and abroad. Teaching yoga is an amazing opportunity for her to share her love of yoga with others.

I took my very first yoga class in a basement hallway of my high school. It was only years later I found my way back to the mat exploring all different styles of yoga in different studio settings. I completed my 200 hour YTT in 2015 and have been teaching ever since. Over the years I have found a passion for creating unique sequences to spark new challenges and help people explore their practice in different ways. You can find me teaching my two favorites, power flows and yin.
The sense of community I have found through yoga is something I will forever be grateful for!

I started practicing yoga to help heal from an injury. I discovered that not only was my practice offering the physical healing benefits my body needed but it taught me how to be totally present by linking breath with movement. And I was hooked!
After practicing and studying yoga for several years, I decided to take the next step and completed my 200hr YTT with Pura Vida Yoga. I look forward to growing in my practice.
